Talk : Learn the theory behind the success of medical leadership in the Special Operations Forces

The day starts with a series of interactive sessions led by prof. dr. ir. Daan dohmen and some of our most experienced SF operators who routinely work under intense pressure. Discover how they keep their composure, make quick and effective decisions and motivate their teams, even in the most extreme situations. You will have the opportunity to learn their medical combat techniques and strategies, and adapt them to your own medical practice.

After lunch, the afternoon program focuses on leadership skills, organizational development and medical practice under pressure. You will leave with a deeper understanding of how to lead and motivate your team, how to efficiently organize your practice and how to act effectively in stressful situations. This event is carefully designed to support you in your growth as a professional and leader in healthcare. In various exercises you will learn the core C/ABCD methods and specific medical skills, including demonstrations by experienced instructors.

Action: carry out a real SF mission and put what you have learned into practice in our practice jungle in Didam

The second part of the afternoon is dedicated to carrying out a real mission under the guidance of Operators of Special Operations Forces. You will step into the shoes of an operator and take on the challenge of carrying out a mission in our practice jungle. SF operators will guide you and your medical leadership under pressure will be put to the test. After this experience, there will be an extensive evaluation with each other in a hot debrief.
