Welcome to this brand new Elearnity Experience: a digital training in which you learn to put yourself in the role of a patient. In 2017, the strategic subject 'When you got sick' was created at the Jeroen Bosch Hospital based on the personal experiences as a patient of internist-infectious disease specialist Marjan van Apeldoorn. Marjan and several colleagues experienced as patients that the essence of good care takes place 'outside the lines'. At the time, their experiences and those of others were elaborated in the book 'When you got sick'. And from today, it is also available as a unique digital training.

Learning from colleagues
In healthcare, we can learn a lot from colleagues who have been patients or relatives of patients. These colleagues look at healthcare from both perspectives: the perspective of the healthcare provider and that of the person receiving care. 'Then you got sick yourself' uses this change of perspective in different ways. We have given various workshops, made videos and VR films and spoken at conferences. And now the time has come. We have created a unique training course, using the modern Elearnity platform.
